- Your writing should be 1000-3000 words in length. We do not accept articles that are either too short or too long. Please adhere to the word limit.
- Include relevant links in your writing wherever possible. For instance, if you are writing about a tourist attraction be sure to link their website in your text.
- Any photos you share must be your own. If not, they should be properly sourced with the credits given to the artist. We believe all artists and photographers deserve credit for their artwork or photography, and we want you to bear that in mind when you use pictures in your travel article.
- Your travel writing should be informative. Readers come here seeking information. Detailed accounts in your travel articles are always welcome! For example, if you are writing about 10 Places in California your reader should visit, you have to give the details, as to why you think those places are the chosen 10, or what is best about those places, and the expected budget to visit those places.
- Your travel article should answer “why”. Give proper reasons for all the statements you make. Readers have inquisitive minds and they need answers and reasons. We don’t want them scouring other places for answers they could get on our page. So if you are writing about a place that is “an absolute winter wonderland,” be sure to mention why you think so.
- Once you have written a travel article for us, and it does get published, you are not allowed to post it anywhere else. However, feel free to share the link with your friends and on your socials!
